Cherie started with TMFI in 1993. She was already here when TMFI was then called Tribal Mission Philippines.

Her academic background and experiences have become very useful in the Training Department which she now leads. She earned a BS Agriculture degree at Visayas State College in Baybay, Leyte and was an agricultural lecturer at the Mindanao Baptist Rural Life Center prior her stint with TMFI.

When not working for TMFI, she performs her role in her home church, Christ The Living Stone Fellowship-Davao. As a church elder, she conducts discipleship training and is a part of the worship team and outreach ministry group.

She still finds enough time though to meet her yet another demanding task – as single parent to her son Rieche-Al and daughter Alliani.
