TRIBAL MISSION FOUNDATION INTERNATIONAL STAFF PROFILES
Bernabe Cape
In 1991, Bernabe “Tata” Cape experienced an encounter with the Lord that revolutionized his life. The calling he received was based on John 15:16 “You have not chosen me but I chose you to go and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain.” From that time on, Tata steadily pursued this mandate. He started as a church worker at an Assembly of God Church in Zamboanga del Sur from 1991 to 1996. Then he was in a campus ministry in Toril, Davao City for two years with a zeal to reach out the youth.
In 1998 he became a volunteer cell leader for TMFI’s Training Department. In May 2000, he was promoted as a full-time staff and since then has been a teacher in Chronological Bible Story Telling, part of the mission’s training curriculum.
Tata met his wife Judith in TMFI. They are blessed with two children: JB and Abigail. Tata also serves as a worship leader of his home church, Sound of the Living Streams Fellowship.
