How fast time flies! Another year is about to end again but the call of God still resounds...
"the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few." TMFI, in the years ahead, remains committed
to train laborers for the harvest. The ongoing construction of our Culture and Development Center
in Tugbok, Davao City which will house the school, "Institute for Culture and Development"
in May, 2008 is a proof of God’s faithfulness to His call.
On the onset of this year, the challenge of building the Culture and Development Center appeared to be a
formidable one with many limitations in our hands. We were like young David in the face of mighty Goliath.
But the shepherd boy of Israel showed us how we could overcome great obstacles. His heart burned for the
cause of upholding the kingdom of the Almighty God and had great confidence that the Lord will enable him
to do the work. With a sling in hand and five smooth stones in his shepherd’s bag, he took those
significant little steps forward and slew the proud giant.
By God’s grace, the school facilities will be finished by May, 2008. With your invaluable prayers and support, we have reached this far. You are our teammate in reaching the suffering and Christless Indigenous People. You are a source of inspiration and joy to us. Thank you for believing God with us for :
- A place to pray for the unreached tribes in the Philippines and beyond.
- A place to worship His majesty.
- A place to train people with heart to serve the Indigenous People.
- A place for rest and refreshing for His faithful workers who risk it all for His sake.
- A place where people catch His vision for the Harvest.
- A place where Christ will be exalted.
As the Lord enlarges the tent of the ministry, we know that the demands also become greater. Yet we can only lean on God’s power to enable us all. We look forward to that day when together we will reap the bountiful harvest of our toil.
Thank you for being an instrument of His faithfulness. We love you, and are so grateful for your loving
partnership with us. We deeply appreciate your prayers and generous giving. "How can we thank God enough
for you in return for all the joy we have in the presence of our God because of you?" (1 Thessalonians 3:9)
Thank you that we can count on to pray together with you.
